Project Update


Finally i got some spare time nowodays, which means some new cool ideas i can experiment with. New important update is, that future of the project now lies on mobile platform where i have some new cool concepts prepared. Idea of mobile platform came initially from positive feedback about minimap view. I really liked the idea that was proposed and agree that mobile version will suits the game really well. For now i have done some optimizing, so i can start with transition to the mobile platform. 

-Mesh was heavily optimized and polygon count was massively reduced. 

-Draw calls number is now around 1/5 of what it has been previously. 

-Render pipeline of the project was changed so i have more options to work with and more options to optimize the game better. 

-Game size has been reduced. 

Because of all these optimizations i decided to push Web-GL build here, that is playable in browser, so anyone can play it. Web-GL had complications with particle system used on gravity lamp, so it was changed. On notebook make sure to launch your browser with dedicated graphics card if you have one, but the game is also running fine on integrated graphics card now.  New desktop versions are available for download. This is basically the final build that is made for pc platform, all future work will be targeted towards the mobile platform.
